What medications are contraindicated in a patient with appendicitis?

If you have appendicitis, the most likely treatment is surgery to remove the appendix, in which case oral medication of any kind is inappropriate, as are anticogaulants (blood-thinning agents) which may produce excessive bleeding during surgery. Otherwise there are no specific contraindications to any medications in appendicitis.
