Im so humiliated, the guy at Mcdonalds called me "sir"?

I am Indian and I have always struggled with being a hairy woman, and I will admit that lately, I havent been keeping up on my shaving and Nair. So I went to McDonalds today as I was craving some nuggets and when the young man behind the counter gave me my change, he said "Have a nice day sir". I was mortified and the woman behind me laughed. I ran out in tears. Why was I born so Hairy and why do people think I stink? I eat a lot of curry, but I dont smell anything weird around me?
