What is this video game called?

It is a PS2 game, the plot follows the main character, (I believe his name is Eike), the setting is a small European town, the story is this "ekie" guy is an integral character involved in a major event but before the event occurs he gets murdered, but he wakes up in this rift in time and he is somewheres between life and death. A supernatrual being, for his own reasons allow Eike to return back in time to prevent his murder, but the murderer is determined and acts again, and as the story progresses the plot twists off into several offshoots that all result in a total of (I believe) 12 different endings, one of which is Eike, in relief that he has thwarted his murderer, takes a moment to appreciate life, he gazes up at the stars, he lies on his back in the middle of a public square and ponders how great life is (seeing as he has died many time in the last 24 hours) then suddenly a group of drunk teenagers swerve off the road and drive down through the square running Eike over and killing him. The partyboy stops the car and says "Woooaahhh dude I almost hit you! You like totally shouldn't lie in the road like that!" and then the partyboy drives off.
