What do you think of chatting with people online?

If your going to meet somone you just have to be smart when you do it. I met some of my best friends online.. When ever I agree to meet someone new from the internet, I meet them in a public place and bring a friend with me. I have yet to get hurt etc. You just have to be smart about it.
