Help my PS3 system deleted all my data?

It said something wierd when i turned it on like reformatting, but it didnt start, just said it was unable to continue. But when turen it on, no data nothing, i lost retct and clank data thats was fuly complete 4 playthroughs and complete haze data, complete COD4 data and complte RT Q4B data, plus all the game data and such
