Do we have a case to sue for my father that had to have his leg amputated because of negligence in his Rest HM?

My father had a stroke 2 yrs ago that paralyzed him on his left side. Since then he has been residing at a Rehab/Rest Home where they are supposed to take care of him, exercise him daily, get regular check ups from Dr's and Nurses there, and get proper nutrition. Well last week they called us and told us our father had to get his leg amputated. His room mate confirmed a couple of weeks ago the nurses attempting to take my father out for daily exercise hit his foot so hard on something it bled and instead of them taking care of it, wrapping it cleaning it, they took him on to therapy. The foot got worse (nothing was done, we weren't notified) and so we got a call at the last minute saying he had to have a blood transfusion AND had to get his leg amputated. I think this in inexcusable since he is in their care 24/7 with Doctors and Nurses around that are supposed to be checking him everday. He has also went from 180lbs to 140. I live in PA and my father is in SC. Should we have a case and would kind of lawyer is best for such cases? Do i have to get one from SC or can i hire one from PA? Any good advice would be greatly appreciated

but is there a way to find out how many times a person got tested in a given amount of time? like say so and so got tested for hiv antibodies 3 times in 4 years.ect. obviously they were negative the first two times to get tested a third time down the road(and it doesn't matter if people know your clean) and the results of the third test can either be positive or negative, we don't know since that was the last test taken. I'm sure theres a way to find this information out, how would I go about it?

How to make my friend say yes to the talent show?

Well this year, I really want to partake in the talent show. I really feel like singing a duet with my guy friend, since he is a bit of a singer. But, he really doesn't want to. He has been thinking about it, and I give him space so I don't seem too pressuring. He keeps giving me excuses like he has stage fright or is a very poor singer. I haven't heard him sing, sorry, but I really don't care. I want to make this school year really memorable and worth everything that I've gone through. What else can I do to make him feel confident enough about himself to know he is worth singing in the talent show? I don't know what else to do. In NC, which is where I live, you can easily search for criminal records for free from the Department of Corrections website. your diet needs to be firmly protein im talking grilled chicken and fish. Also no corn syrups or sweets. also your food must be whole weat or whole grain. Btw you should hit the bags 3 days and do boxing conditioning. Then 3 days should be strictly weight training. And you need a day off to fully recover. Sparring is good, you wanna work on your upper body in the weight room and core. Deffinatley do some cycling, running is bad for your joints I prefer to cycle. Also be sure your hands are quick and you are putting combinations in your punches. Do not go out there and brawl. If you are south paw i suggest you use a lot of jabs with the right to throw off your oppenet. Other than that stay hydrated and take protein and you should be set.

My husband opened a checking account w/ my 16 yo stepdaughter for her to keep her money and carry a debit card. She was instructed to NOT write checks and not give anyone access, especially since custodial parent (his ex wife) nearly got into trouble years before for check fraud. Long story short: the account ends up being overdrawn from a $44 check written for pizza. Turns out custodial parent wrote the check and signed my stepdaughters name. My husband closed the account and confronted his ex. No apologies or anything...she just said she would pay it. If she doesn't, what do we do? It will probably be $70-$100 with fees and all. Should we call the police and report it if she fails to pay w/i 30 days? You would think that she wouldn't want to ruin her daughter's credit before it's even established, but I wouldn't put anything past this woman. I don't know if it's considered forgery because my stepdaughter knew about the check, but didn't write it. Also, she's just a minor. What's our recourse?
